How To Configure Static Routing Using 3 Router

In This Tutorial We Are Going To Learn Ho to Configure Static Routing using 3 Routers

Firstly We Have To Take 3 Router And 2 Pc’s And Draw This Type Of Scennerio

Now We Have To Assign The IP To The Routers

Now Go On Router 1 And Do Configuration

Configuration In Router 1
R1

Router>enable
Router#config terminal
Router(config)#int f0/0
Router(config-if)#ip add 1.0.0.1 255.0.0.0
Router(config-if)#no shut
Router(config-if)#exit
Router(config)#
Router(config)#int f0/1
Router(config-if)#ip add 2.0.0.1 255.0.0.0
Router(config-if)#no shut
Router(config-if)#exit
Router(config)#exit

Configuration In Router 2
R2
Router>enable
Router#config terminal
Router(config)#int f0/0
Router(config-if)#ip add 2.0.0.2 255.0.0.0
Router(config-if)#no shut
Router(config-if)#exit
Router(config)#
Router(config)#int f0/1
Router(config-if)#ip add 3.0.0.1 255.0.0.0
Router(config-if)#no shut
Router(config-if)#exit
Router(config)#exit

Configuration In Router 3
R3

Router>enable
Router#config terminal
Router(config)#int f0/0
Router(config-if)#ip add 3.0.0.2 255.0.0.0
Router(config-if)#no shut
Router(config-if)#exit
Router(config)#
Router(config)#int f0/1
Router(config-if)#ip add 4.0.0.1 255.0.0.0
Router(config-if)#no shut
Router(config-if)#exit
Router(config)#exit

We Have Assigned The Ip To The Routers And Pc’s

Now We Have To Do The Routing To The Routers

Routing Configuration In Router 1
R1
Router(config)#ip route 4.0.0.0 255.0.0.0 3.0.0.2
Router(config)#ip route 3.0.0.0 255.0.0.0 2.0.0.2

Routing Configuration In Router 2
R2
Router(config)#ip route 1.0.0.0 255.0.0.0 2.0.0.1
Router(config)#ip route 4.0.0.0 255.0.0.0 3.0.0.2

Routing Configuration In Router 3
R3

Router(config)#ip route 1.0.0.0 255.0.0.0 2.0.0.1
Router(config)#ip route 2.0.0.0 255.0.0.0 3.0.0.1

If You Have To Check Connection In Working Properly Or Not
Then Go In Pc And Click In Command Prompt And Type
Ping 4.0.0.2
And See The Reply Is Comming Or Not
If Reply Is Comming Then Your Connection Is Working Properly
