In This Tutorial We Are Going To Learn How To Configure Grub Security In Redhat Enterprise Linux Rhel-4&5

Firstly Login With The Root In Linux

Now We Have To Go Inside The Configuration File Of Grub And Then We Have To Give The Password So How We Give The Password 

Here Is The Configuration File Of Grub Security 


#vim /etc/grub.conf

This Is The Conf File Of Grub Security Now Run This File On Root And Give The Password
 So In 13th Line After hidenmenu Then Give The Password

Here You Can See The Picture Were We Have To Give The password

After Giving The Password Then Save The Conf File Now We Have To Encrypt This File So How We Can Do That 

Here Is The Command To Encrypt This Password So No one Can Understand What Passwird We Have Given To Grub Security 


# grub-md5-crypt



Now Copy This Encrypt Line Of That Password Which You Given Before And Paste It To The Configuration File
